Alder Trees

Alder trees have a relatively short life-span; typically 50-60 years of age.

Then, you will see signs in tops of the trees where they are dying and breaking out. When the tops start dying and breaking, it means they have reached their maturity.

Then they start going downhill from there. They develop redheart, the start of the tree decaying; this means sawmills will not purchase the wood at normal prices.

When they are dying, they lose their value for timber harvesting!

Dying Furs

If your Fur has become infected with a disease, it will spread to other Furs!

If you have a dead or dying Fur, check to the nearest trees around it.

If you see nearby trees getting pale or dying, they are infected!
